I led research and design in modernizing a product that helps rail workers efficiently monitor North American and Australian railroads with fast real-time access to vehicle data, location, and thumbnails in a unified, time-synchronized, mobile-optimized view.

I led visual design for Moto Mods, including the Insta-Share Projector and the Hasselblad True Zoom Camera.

I designed various interactive marketing pieces, websites, branding, and print materials at DJG, a Chicago-based marketing firm. I worked with clients from various industries, including transportation and logistics, pharmaceuticals, engineering, sales, and trade organizations.

Armed with my backpack and a DSLR, I explored Japan alone in 2009, riding the Shinkansen from Tokyo to Hiroshima. I wanted to capture what life was like in a culture steeped in tradition upholding excellent design and beauty. I discovered the legacy left behind by artisans and everyday people, in contrast to the forgotten lives on the sidewalk and those lost to time.

Somehow, one of the very first websites I've ever created is still alive on the Internet. As a high school student, I created the logo and graphics with Microsoft Paint (yes!), coded the site using AOLpress WYSIWYG editor and HTML, and uploaded it to Yahoo! Geocities to be hosted.
